Day two saw Ryan & Matt become Irish 49er National Champions 2009 with four races sailed and four wins to follow yesterdays four wins. Day two began at mid day with perfect sailing conditions on Dublin Bay with a steady North Westerly 10-12 knot breeze and flat seas.

Speaking with the boys onshore after the racing Matt said " it was a great weekend with a good turn out of boats." This national championship also adds to Ryan's recent win in the Laser class earlier this month.

Ryan & Matt now prepare for training in Australia with Nathan Outteridge &  Ben Austin the current world 49er World Champions, they also intend to compete in three of the regional events in Australia before returning home for Christmas.
